OCT 2017 Q & A
I have been listening for a few months now and you have given some great advice, I have read a couple of books and tried a few different workouts because of the episodes. My one concern is all the talk about “up here in canada” and getting everything in before we have to go inside. I have lived in canada, alberta, wet coast, Yukon, all my life. I workout outside year round, including cycling. It may not be as intense a workout, sometimes it is more fun crashing in the snow. I do believe I am in the minority but I don’t think I am an exception to the rule. I would guess that half of your northern listeners are still outdoors through the winter and it may be a different type of workout, it is still exciting and fun. My silliest realization was from my time on the wet coast. That demographic, in my travels, has been the least likely to be outside in their “winter,” I used to wear paddling gear to go mountain biking. I was warm but got lots of funny looks, not for my attire but for being outside.
